Well now...

As I said before, I bricked my Garminfone and traded it in for another phone. T-Mobile offered me an early exchange for a cheap Android device(their cheapest, mind you.). While adding an additional two years to my contract. For the cost of that, what did I get? a T Mobile COMET. Now, if it wasn't for the incredibly small display, or the fact that it was a REFURBISHED phone, it would have actually been a decent trade. But it's not worth another two years and a reset of your upgrade time.
Complete bullshit.
So, I switched to Sprint. The only downside is I had to make a deposit(100 per line.) and my wife and I got two new FREE Nexus S 4G's at Best Buy! That sounds like an advertisement...
So far, I'm glad I switched. All I can say for now is that it's cheaper, we'll be saving around $70.00 a month with Sprint for our phones. If I come up with anything bad to say about Sprint, I'll surely post it here.

Disappointing, to say the least.

If your phone supports it, and it is available, get Navigon. I don't think there is a free demo, but Garmin just bought them out. They are big in Germany, but branched out here. I got the USA and Canada version for $40, but I think that special is over.
In any case, I tried out several offline navigation systems after getting my HTC Sensation 4G (still have the Garminfone) and it was the only one that even came close.
Most likely because they use the same map database, speed limit database, traffic database, etc that Garmin does.
It offers a few less bells and whistles, but it does give you things like presenting you with up to 3 different routes, a reality view that overlays the names of places onto the camera, has a very pleasant TTS voice, includes red light cameras, and has (in my opinion) a better way of searching for POI's.
Worth every penny. It is a lot more of lean GPS, but the only one that is as intuitive and accurate as the Garmin. I have been using it for a couple weeks now and have had zero issues, and I am the kind of guy where Garmin is the only way to go.
It even seems to have a slightly better time estimation in my opinion because it errs on the side of caution, almost like it is expecting you to hit every red light. The ETA always goes down for me, which better than begin late because the Garmin doesn't factor in stop lights.
On the flipside, avoid CoPilot like the plague. Old maps, incorrect POIs, speed limits only on freeways, terrible customer service, and the product locks up frequently. But it is cheap and looks cool!
